چکیده

We describe an action principle, within the framework of Eddington gravity, which incorporates matter fields in a simple manner. Interestingly, gravitational field equations derived from this is identical to Einstein's equations, contrast with earlier attempts literature. The cosmological constant arises as integration approach. In fact, derivation demands existence nonzero constant, thereby providing raison d'\^etre for implied by current observations. Several features our approach strongly support paradigm that gravity emergent phenomenon and, perspective, principle could have possible origin microstructure spacetime. also discuss several extensions including one can incorporate torsion into show Eddington-like be constructed obtain Lanczos-Lovelock gravity.
